Underdog Debuts Prediction Market on In-House Exchange

Underdog, the sports gaming company that disrupted the daily fantasy sports (DFS) industry, has officially launched its wholly-owned prediction market exchange.

The new in-house platform gives Underdog full control over the economics of trading event contracts, allowing the company to capture more value from the fast-growing prediction market space rather than relying on third-party trading infrastructure.

This launch arrives roughly four months after Underdog announced its acquisitions of Aristotle Exchange DCM, Inc. And related Aristotle Exchange assets, which provided the core technology and regulatory framework to build out the fully owned exchange.

The debut of the in-house prediction market positions Underdog to expand its product portfolio beyond DFS, tapping into surging mainstream interest in prediction markets for sports, entertainment, and real-time current events.
